Free Market Principles What Every Debater Should Know About Economics by David Beers Ph.D. candidate, George Mason University is a short series of links that give you very thorough but high level understanding of free market economic principles. These principles are the ones that defeated socialist orthodoxy, but seem to a mystery to our elected representatives. Be sure to check out the links inside Mr. Beers article.

Mackinac Center for Public Policy is an organization devoted to free-market research and education. I especially like their "Ask the economist" page. This is a good site and great organization.

National Taypayers Union is an organization founded in 1969 to fight for the American taxpayer. NTU is the largest grassroots taxpayer organization with more than 300,000 members across all fifty states.

Return to Liberty is an article by Jim Rongstad that talks about how much our political landscape has changed in the last 200 years. Politicians used to boast about limitations to government. Today they boast about using our own money to control our lives and reward their friends and benefactors. They are proud of their give-aways to corporations, various charities, and do-gooder projects. Recommend you look around the rest of Jim's web site. It's a good one.
